Goodbye Renchan

Update - July '07
Lots of new lolicon communities
Note: If you're looking for reasons why Renchan shutdown please read the old index
I thought it about time to update this page so that users are able to see what new sites are on offer since Renchan's demise. I'm likely missing a fair number of communities (my knowledge of lolicon is as bad as ever) but I've tried to include as many communities as I can recall.

The main new website on offer is DarkNeko.com. It provides a home for both lolicon and shotacon as well as 'mimi's of all shapes and sizes. - DarkNeko.com is now offline.

Another new site is ShoChan.org. As you can guess form the title it's main focus is on shotacon - although I believe it does incorporate lolicon as well.A website I neglected to mention back in April is Renachan.net. Renachan is now an established community with a dedicated user-base and is headed up by Usoda. Many of you reading this will know Usoda by her former alias "Noelle".

Now reflecting back on the other sites I've mentioned in the past, I'd like to just say that 2kochan, Flatchan and LAH have all found new homes and are still online (at least as of this moment). There have been rumors of a Renchan resurrection in the making - and unfortunately I am going to have to say these rumors are false. Renchan will never be resurrected although, as you can see from the links above, there are many many communities doing a far better job then Renchan ever did.

I'd like to again thank you all for a good couple of years.

~ Konoko
